Kenwood

Ground Zero

M2G produced two 35mm film TV spots direct-to-client Kenwood Electronics. This spot for the Kenwood Excelon line of car audio products, was designed as a customizable ad campaign that was made available to Kenwood retailers who then had M2G customize the spot with their contact information on the closing billboard. The spot was shot over a weekend at an abandoned air force base in Southern California, and also featured 3D animation for the powerful “sound test” sequence. This was a high-end spot, produced for a fraction of what a national agency would charge. Directed by Craig Barker and produced by Jeff Granbery and Edward Mailhot, this spot won multiple awards and showed that big ad agencies aren’t always the way to go when you need to make your next epic spot!
